"You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine. Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God." Titus 2:1 - 5, NIV
Shanda has hosted Titus 2 Tuesdays as long as I've participated. And I just told her last week that it's my favorite meme around! She then shared with me her sensing God's prompting to lay aside blogging for a while. How sad I was. Selfish, I know, but I know I will miss Shanda's posts. And I'm sure I'm not alone.
So, for this Titus 2 Tuesday, let's do something a little out of the box. If you'd like, comment on this post telling Shanda how much she has meant to you. Has has Shanda's blog influenced your life? What has Shanda taught you?
Shanda, we will miss you, dear one! May God richly bless you as you follow His leading and guidance. And when you're ready, we'll welcome you back to this blogging family of faith with open arms!
God bless you!
*Titus 2 as we've all known it will return next Tuesday!

I'm very sad to realize you're taking a break from blogging, but I know you're doing what you need to do. I have so enjoyed Titus 2 Tuesdays, and it has been one of my favorite consistent things to do. Remembering women who have so greatly influenced my life...it's been a gift. And I think you for that gift.

Thank you for taking up T2T so that I can continue to be reminded of these special and important women in my life!
I love Shanda! This could be a button Hehehe!
Shanda, your dedication rocks! Every time I read your post I am in awe of the eloquent style in which your words form on the page. The heart of your posts are more than inspirational and they minister to me greatly!
If the Lord is calling you away from this for a time, I know He will enrich you greatly. He has done this very thing in my life, in other areas and every time I step away, He uses that time to fill me with more of Him!
Love you sister!
Wow girl, thank you SO much - I am moved to tears! God is so good.
