Many of you have asked to see belly pictures, so I'm eating a big ole' piece of humble pie and showing you all just how large I am these days.....

27 weeks pregnant and loving it, no doubt!  But I am growing, for sure!!

So there you have it... I'm certainly growing!  Molly's so active these days and I absolutely love it!  She particularly loves worship at church; she just bounces all around in my belly.  And today we had the Lord's Supper (which doesn't happen often at our church, but I sure do love it), and I could literally see my belly moving all around during that! She's kicked her Daddy a time or two when he's been pressing on my belly trying to feel her move.  And that?  Is The. Best.  To watch his face light up when he feels his baby girl move is just priceless.

Thank you, God, for the little things... and the BIG blessings, too!

And it’s no wonder my mother’s calling me out on my facebook page. It’s been 3 weeks since my last post! Where in the world has the time gone?

It’s so easy for me to just say how busy we’ve been. Because we have been busy. We’ve been out of town a lot, we’ve registered for baby items, we’ve Tim has worked in the yard, I’ve attended a coupon class, we’ve enjoyed some of our spring weather, and we’ve caught up with sweet friends at my alma mater.

My belly is surely growing these days. I’m now 26 weeks pregnant and still loving every minute of it. Well, almost every minute. Pregnancy does some STRANGE things to your body. Let’s just leave it there. Molly is moving more and more every single day, and I could just eat it up! She’s kicked her daddy a time or two, and lately I’m really able to watch my belly move as she adjusts! It’s just awesome!

So, how are y’all doing lately? I hope you’re getting some beautiful spring weather where you are like we’ve had here! I promise I’ll be back with more. Soon. Like sooner than 3 weeks from now.

Titus 2 Tuesday ~ Gma

I'm honoring my Gma today.  Sure, I've talked about her before here and here ~ both posts are full of precious memories and laughs. 

This weekend, my entire family honored Gma. 

As we should.

She turns 90 Thursday.  NINETY!  And she's sharp as a tack, full of spunk, and healthy to boot!

Here she is blowing out her candles on her cake, with the help of her great-granddaughters, of course!

 

(Sidenote:  Seriously?  May I please look as good as she does at 90?  K, thanks.)

Our family's full of girls; there are six grandchildren - all girls.  five great-grandchildren - 4 girls.  We are just overrun with girls.  We spent Sunday honoring Gma with a family dinner and reading poems, letters, and stories to Gma.

One of our family traditions is to take a family picture, followed by a goofy picture. It's really funny to us! I don't think I've really appreciated this tradition until Sunday, though.  While we were all crammed together for this picture, I could hear one young cousin say, "Now can I make a silly face?" before every picture!  It made me smile to realize it's all he's ever known. . .  the family's silly pictures!

And, since it's on Facebook for all the world to see, I guess I'll share it here, too!  Ha Ha!!

Sunday I was reminded, yet again, just how blessed I am!  Gma has taught all of us in the family so much about God's grace and love, either in her words or actions.  And I love her for it!
