I'm doing something I've not done in a long time here. . . I'm linking up with Michy at Loving our Journey today. I really wasn't intending to link up, but when I read her post, I just had to. I love her post.
Today Michy is asking what is our prayer, our saying of calmness as we journey through life. Mine is Ecclesiastes 3:11:
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end."
In His Time.
He makes all things beautiful in His time.
When I cannot see the beauty in heartache and pain, I remind myself of this.
When things are going quite like I'd like, when answers aren't coming as quickly as I hoped, I remind myself of this promise. I've seen it before and I will see it again.
I sing this song over and over as well. What a beautiful song!
And that, His promise, is what I cling to.
What promise of God's do you repeat to yourself in times of struggle and uncertainty?

"It's because He loves me." No matter what is happening, I know it's for my good, because He loves me. Blessings!
Bethany...
Wow...I have some amazing readers and co-bloggers, but I think you are the first person to TRULY connect how much I'm loving my journey in life with God...you are understanding me at a deeper level...I can't believe that you were so moved by what I wrote this morning and responded; I am honored you linked up today...not because you linked, but because of the connection of hearts...
Your writing here is absolutely gorgeous...
I have to tell you I've planned a post for a while about my hubby's fav saying..."all in due time"...one I constantly rebel against...he's right, but it's the way it comes across...I never knew there was a passage in the bible (well, of course there should be) that gives this to God. I read that, grabbed my bible and bookmarked it...I can't wait for my husband to get home to show him and tell him about this....this verse, tied to our God, instantly calms...
That video is wonderful....I want to have my lil guy hear that song..the repetition makes the message so clear....thank you!!!
I'm eager to come back and read if others comment here!
I know you don't often link up, but please know if you would ever like to guest post on my site, I'd be honored to have you...anytime!!!
I come in and check your blog but can only seem to subscribe to post comments...is there a way to subscribe to your updates or should I come back and check in (gladly)?
Blessings, girl...God is so good to connect us!!!!
:) Michy
Thanks for this great reminder today! I love this verse. I am always telling myself that there are seasons in life and God will take care of me in all seasons.
This is one of my favorite verse - the promise that He has a plan for each of us that will come to fruit in His time...not ours.
The promise I cling to is that His love is all encompassing. No matter what, He loves unconditional, without judging. I so want to love like Him.
I love this song! And verse :) I probably tell myself to breather and remember HE is, not me!
That He is so very faithful; His plan is absolutely perfect;and He's got it under control, so I can relax. All I have to do is look at my life when I've pursued Him and His will...alas I forget anyway.
